Hawzah News Agency - It’s now hundreds of years that Imam Reza shrine’s Office for Foreign Pilgrims’ Affairs is hosting people from different religions on various occasions including special program of the new year.

This year’s new year ceremony was held on the first day of 2024 in presence of a group of Muslim Americans originally from India, Lebanon, and Pakistan.

The ceremony was kicked off by reciting verses of holy Quran and continued by welcome speech of the manager of holy shrine’s Office for Foreign Pilgrims’ Affairs, Hoj. Seyyed Mohammad Zolfaghari. Seyyed Saleh Ghazvini, salient Shia scholar from New York delivered a lecture in the same ceremony as well. Urdu and Arabic programs brought the two-hour ceremony into end.
