Hawzah News Agency- The 8th International and Scientific Conference of Arbaeen Pilgrimage will start on Wednesday, August 28 in Karbala, Iraq.

According to the official announcement, the 8th conference will be held on Wednesday and Thursday, August 28 and 29, 2024, and thinkers from 36 countries will present their articles and speeches in this event.

The "Scientific and International Arbaeen Pilgrimage Conference" is organized every year by the Karbala Studies and Research Center with the participation of Iraqi universities and scientific communities outside this country, and is held in Karbala during the days of Arbaeen ceremony.

The theme of the 8th edition of this scientific and international conference is "Arbaeen Pilgrimage; Towards global approaches to human beings and civilization.”

The topic of the previous two editions of this international conference include:

The seventh conference: Arbaeen pilgrimage; The authenticity of values and the title of civilization - Arbaeen 2023

The sixth conference: Arbaeen; The stability of the path and title of identity – Arbaeen 2022

It is worth mentioning that the "Karbala Studies and Research Center" is considered the research arm of the Holy Shrine of Imam Hussain (peace be upon him) and has extensive scientific, research, publishing and cultural activities.
