Hawzah News Agency- Hujjat al-Islam Seyyed Sadr al-Din Qbanchi, Friday Imam of Najaf Ashraf, issued a message of condolence following the passing away of Hujjat al-Islam Sheikh Ali Kurani.

The text of the message is as follows:

"To God We Belong and To God We Return"

It is with great sadness that we received the news of the passing away of the honorable scholar, Hujjat a-Islam Sheikh Ali Kurani; May God shower his mercy on him and place him in the vast paradise.

The late scholar was a strong voice in defense of the Shia religion and the Imams of Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them), and he was a pioneer in the field of the Islamic movement and the spread of Islamic awareness among the youth. His life was full of bright chapters of intellectual and political struggles, and he did not let himself get tired of writing those pages.

And finally, he was transferred to the mercy and grace of God and rested next to Prophet Muhammad and his pure family (peace be upon them).
