Hawzah News Agency- Head of Iran’s Seminary Ayatollah Alireza Arafi, in a ceremony held on the occasion of National Journalism Day at Hawzah News Agency in Qom, honored this day and appreciated the efforts of the big media family, journalists, media activists in the cyber space and all institutions and organizations that are active in the Islamic seminary system as well as the national and international media active in line with the ideals of the Islamic revolution and the system of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
He stated, “We do not like and condemn the information and the media octopus that threatens the spread of authentic information in the world, equally we praise and appreciate the great caravan of news, true journalists who serve humanity, divine, free people, Muslims and divine teachings.”
The head of Iranian seminaries further stated that journalistic work should be considered as a hard, difficult and valuable work and added,” Journalism Day coincides with the journalistic flow of Ashura Day, which during these days witness the correct and accurate narration of the Ahl al-Bayt (PBUH) from the Ashura. One of the reasons for the longevity of the Ashura event is this true narration and this flow of information in three stages before, during and after Ashura has been prepared, planned and engineered in such a way that it will last and its correct narrations will be reflected and protect itself from future distortions and conspiracies.”
