Eid Al-Adha Holiday of Islamic Unity, Sacrifice

Friday Prayer Imam of Baneh said,” Eid al-Adha, like other Islamic holidays, is full of great lessons for all Muslims, and unity, sacrifice and self-sacrifice are only a small part of these lessons.”

Hawzah News Agency – Sunni scholar Mamousta Abdul Rahman Khodayi had a meeting with a group of Sunni students from Baneh city in Iranian Kurdistan Province, during which he congratulated Eid al-Adha and stated,” Eid al-Adha is the festival of unity, brotherhood and sacrifice for Muslims.”

The Friday Imam of Baneh city added,” Eid al-Adha, like other Islamic holidays, provides great lessons for all Muslims, and unity, sacrifice, and self-sacrifice are only a small part of these lessons.”

He pointed out,” the huge gathering of Eid al-Adha during Hajj is a large gathering with exemplary cohesion and unity; On this day, a person sacrifices his own self and goes from selfishness to altruism, so Eid al-Adha holds a very eminent place among Muslims.”

The Friday Imam of Baneh city further added,” Islamic holidays are one of the commonalities of Muslims, so by using these holidays, we can easily reach the brotherhood and unity that the Holy Quran and the Messenger of God envision, so honoring holidays like Eid al-Adha is a religious duty for everyone.”
