Hawzah News Agency (Qom, Iran) – Ayatollah Makarem Shirazi sent a message on the occasion of the first international conference of the Liwa Fatemiyoun of Afghanistan in the city of Mashhad. His eminence message reads: “First of all, I congratulate all the participants in this magnificent summit and its coincidence with the Islamic Resistance Day.

Today, anti-Islamic and arrogant currents, especially the United States and the Zionist regime, are trying to confuse the Muslims of the region with the old tactic of division and discord. By creating sedition, chaos, and war, they will shake the resistance front and prevent them from demanding the original Islamic ideals and striving for it.”

“Undoubtedly, the Afghan Resistance Front is not an emerging movement. This front has appeared many years ago to defend the homeland against the occupiers and today the Liwa Fatemiyoun has emerged again to defend the sanctuary of the Ahl al-Bayt (AS).” The message continues: “These zealous warriors are brave, persistent and hardworking, and they fight the common enemy, regardless of race or ethnicity. And shoulder to shoulder with their brethren of faith, with unity and empathy, they have become one nation that they have shone in defense of the Fatimid culture and have sacrificed to Islam their lives.”

In the end, the letter stated: “I ask God Almighty to unite all the martyrs of the resistance, especially the martyrs of Afghanistan and more importantly  general Haj Qasem Soleimani with Hazrat Aba Abdullah Al-Hussein (AS) the martyr of Ashura and to keep all the warriors of Islam in this path of light.”
