Hawzah News Agency- Sheikh Yusuf al-Naseri, a senior figure in the Resistance Front and one of the founders of Iraq's Popular Mobilization Forces, known as Hashd al-Sha'bi, visited the women's seminary alongside Ayatollah Ta'i, a professor of advanced jurisprudence at the Islamic seminaries. The delegation met with Dr. Seyyedeh Zahra Borqei to explore avenues for deeper institutional collaboration.
During the meeting, the two sides introduced their respective activities, capacities, and achievements before exchanging views on ways to expand academic and educational ties.
Discussions centered on potential cooperation between Jami'at al-Zahra, the Iraqi Scholars Council, and the National Council of Religions. Both parties underscored the importance of building lasting academic and training partnerships.
Key areas identified for joint work included the organization of short-term and modular interactive courses in both Iran and Iraq, the holding of scientific seminars, and the launch of shared research projects.
The meeting concluded with a strong emphasis on harnessing the scientific and seminary resources of both institutions to reinforce bilateral connections and deliver joint programs on the international stage.
