Hawzah News Agency – A handwritten note by the late Grand Ayatollah Mohammad Fadhel Lankarani (RA) has been released for the first time by the Jurisprudential Center of the Pure Imams (AS).
The text of the handwritten note reads as follows:
In the Name of God, the Compassionate, the Merciful
Peace be upon the family of Taha and Yasin
Peace be upon the family of the best of the prophets
Peace be upon the garden in which an Imam resides
Whom the heavenly realm and the faith take pride in
I must confess that I am far too insignificant to write anything about His Holiness Ali ibn Musa al-Reza (upon whom be thousands of greetings and praise), or to recount any of his virtues. I shall only point to one matter, and that is the perfect connection and complete correspondence between his holiness — who is the very emblem and symbol of Shiism, such that whoever accepts his Imamate has also accepted the Imams who came after him, and in truth the embodiment of being an Imam lies in belief in him — and the establishment of Shiite governance in the Islamic Republic of Iran, and not in any other country. In my view, this reality is not a matter of mere coincidence, nor is it devoid of deeper connection. I pray that Almighty God, through the blessings of his sacred shrine, may protect the Iranian nation and perpetuate the governance of Shiism in this country.
By his right, and by the right of his pure forefathers and his infallible descendants, especially the Remnant of God on Earth — may God's blessings and peace be upon them all.
