Hawzah News Agency- A journalist knows neither day nor night. Every time news breaks, they pick up the pen and rush into the heart of events. Their relentless striving and constant writing hold no meaning except to bring the truth to light.
Today, as the ranks of truth and falsehood stand face to face, the world’s media superpowers serve the camp of falsehood. Yet it is the sincere, illuminating work of journalists on the side of truth that finds a home in the hearts of people across the globe. It is as if the human conscience is equipped with a truth-seeking system—no matter how much the hideous face of falsehood is adorned and polished, the soul rejects it and searches for light. And once it finds the truth, it never turns away.
For years, the cancerous tumor of the Zionist regime has festered. Over these decades, vast Zionist fortunes have been poured into whitewashing the black crimes of this accursed tribe. Yet by the grace of God—through the enlightened conscience of humanity, the innate goodness in people, the luminosity of truth, the outcry of Muslims, and the tireless truth-telling of journalists on the side of right—this regime remains despised, rejected, and devoid of legitimacy in the eyes of the world. Israel’s hated face across the globe signals the West’s colossal defeat in the media war.
The Palestinian news website Arab 48, citing the Government Media Office in the Gaza Strip, has reported that from the onset of the war in October 2023 until May 2026, more than 260 journalists and media workers have been martyred in Gaza, with another 420 wounded. Among the martyrs was Saleh al-Jafarawi, a young journalist assassinated by the Zionist regime’s mercenaries. Anyone who has followed the news of Gaza through the lenses and words of local media workers will remember the innocent face and name of this fallen journalist.
When the Blood of 680 Journalists in Gaza Overpowers Zionist Billions
A message from earth to the heavens: On this Journalist’s Day, we salute every pen-wielding martyr who now resides at the radiant threshold of the Almighty. This day also belongs to the 420 wounded journalists walking the path of light—their scarred bodies a testament to their love for the struggle against oppression and tyranny—a number that has likely only grown.
In the media battle, truth has once again prevailed. On the battlefield, it will not be long before truth triumphs there as well. This is the Lord’s unshakable promise. May the blood of these wronged martyrs, and all the martyrs of Palestine, soon bear fruit, and may journalists of the truth front from every corner of the world gather in Jerusalem to celebrate the liberation of holy al-Quds. On that day, the empty places of the martyred journalists will be filled with light.
