Hawzah News Agency- Speaking at a meeting of the coordinating council for the week dedicated to revisiting and exposing US human rights, Hojatoleslam Yousef Jamali, head of the Islamic Propagation Coordination Council in Bushehr province, stated that the enemy recognizes no limits in committing crimes. He asserted that so-called American human rights are, in reality, a concept rooted in coercion, power, and safeguarding the interests of hegemonic powers.
Jamali noted that international bodies, including the United Nations and the Security Council, have regrettably become tools in the hands of global powers in many instances. He added that various experiences have demonstrated that any nation capable of defending its interests through reliance on its own strength and capabilities will succeed.
Pointing to recent military confrontations, the official said the Islamic Republic of Iran was able to forcefully pursue its positions and demands thanks to its defense and military might. He emphasized that without the foresight of the late Imam and the country's martyrs in strengthening Iran's missile, drone, and defense capabilities, enemies would have advanced their plans to weaken, divide, and sow discord in the country.
Jamali underlined that the military power of the Islamic Republic, coupled with the conscious and fervent presence of the people on the scene, constitutes the most important components of the country's deterrence, with all these capacities drawing inspiration from the source of Velayat and leadership.
He described the period from June 27 to July 3 as a fitting opportunity to elucidate the crimes of America and the Zionist regime, noting that today's younger generation has witnessed the true nature of the United States and its crimes more tangibly than ever.
The official also paid tribute to the martyrs from Bushehr province who perished in the 1981 bombing that killed Ayatollah Beheshti and 72 others, calling for further introduction of their character and struggles to the public. He confirmed that memorial ceremonies would be held as in previous years, with special programs scheduled to honor these martyrs.
Jamali further stated that during the week of exposing US human rights, the memory of martyrs from recent American and Zionist attacks would also be commemorated, with visits and tributes paid to the bereaved families of these martyrs.
