Hawzah News Agency- Hojatoleslam Hossein Mozaffari made the remarks during a monthly gathering of provincial Friday Prayer leaders held in the historic village of Andaj in western Alamut.
Extending condolences on the occasion of the month of Safar and the captivity of the Prophet’s Household, Mozaffari paid tribute to the late founder of the Islamic Republic, Imam Khomeini, the martyred leader of the Islamic Revolution, and all fallen heroes, particularly those killed in the second and third imposed wars and the recent sedition.
The senior cleric said the unprecedented funeral procession for the martyred leader demonstrated the depth of the Iranian nation’s devotion to religious values and divine leadership, praying for the health and long life of the Leader of the Islamic Revolution.
He emphasized that the late leader of the Islamic Revolution held deep faith in divine promises and instilled in the nation the conviction to constantly reflect on the Quranic verse affirming that God’s mercy encompasses all things and is inscribed for the righteous believers.
Turning to the recent enemy aggressions targeting military installations, infrastructure, and even medical centers — including the Shahid Baghaei Hospital in Ahvaz, which was providing treatment for over 200 children with cancer — the Qazvin Friday Prayer leader stated, “These attacks are a sign of the enemy’s wickedness and desperation. The enemy does not realize that these crimes push him even faster toward the depths of collapse, while securing divine mercy and victory for us.”
Citing a narration from Imam Sajjad (PBUH), he said, “It suffices as God’s victory for you to see your enemy acting in disobedience to God against you.” He explained that when the enemy engages in sin to wage enmity — especially through the unjust shedding of innocent blood, particularly that of defenseless children — that very transgression becomes a means of divine assistance.
Drawing on Ibn Arabi’s Fusus al-Hikam, Mozaffari addressed the secret behind the killing of children at the time of Prophet Moses’ birth, stating that the gathering of those oppressed children’s souls in the celestial realm and their curses upon Pharaoh became a heavenly cause for the collapse of his throne. He stressed that the oppression suffered by schoolchildren in Minab and the children with cancer in Khuzestan, targeted in the cowardly attacks of the terrorist U.S. military, serves as a special factor in securing divine victory and a glad tiding for the front of truth.
The Friday Prayer leader pointed to the story of Prophet Moses’ mother placing him in the river with complete trust in God’s promise as evidence that divine victory may be delayed until the final moments. He noted that even though Pharaoh slaughtered thousands of infants to prevent Prophet Moses’ birth, God raised Moses in Pharaoh’s own household, underlining how reliance on divine promises proves decisive and effective.
Representative of the Leader of the Islamic Revolution in Qazvin province stated that the nature of the enemy’s recent day-and-night attacks, including the targeting of connecting bridges and sensitive military centers, suggests preparations for a ground offensive. “We are ready, and our brave warriors are eagerly counting the days, awaiting the moment the filthy American soldiers set foot on this sacred land so they can turn this holy soil into a graveyard for American forces,” he concluded.
