Leader Warns: US Warmongering Will Bring More Disgrace Upon Washington

A university faculty member and political affairs expert, elaborating on the various dimensions of the Leader of the Islamic Revolution's recent message, has described it as a roadmap for navigating the current critical juncture, stating that emphasis on national unity, the worthlessness of US commitments, vigilance against enemy warmongering, and appreciation for the Iranian nation's epic presence are the key pillars of this strategic message.

Hojatoleslam Mehdi Rafiee-Rad, speaking to Hawzah News Agency, characterized Iranian Leader's recent message as a charter of national unity, public vigilance, and steadfastness against the enemy. "This message, in 18 segments, elucidates the most critical needs of the country today and charts a roadmap for the nation and officials under current circumstances," he stated.

Pointing to the opening of the Leader's message, Rafiee-Rad noted: "The first segment begins with a monotheistic and gnostic tone, expressing appreciation for the massive public turnout at the farewell ceremony and the historic epic created by the Iranian nation."

He added: "The message celebrates the loyalty, insight, and Islamic-Iranian identity of the people, along with their affection for the Leader of the Revolution. It references the impact of the massive public presence in Tehran, Qom, Mashhad, Karbala, and Najaf—a presence that drew admiration from friends of the Iranian nation, astonishment from freedom-seekers worldwide, and, conversely, anger and alarm among enemies."

Addressing another segment of the Leader's message, the university faculty member stated: "His eminence, referencing repeated US violations of agreements, deemed this behavior as proof of the worthlessness of the American president's signature. He stressed that bullying, totalitarianism, and violence are inseparable components of US policy—an approach entirely incompatible with the national and Iranian identity of the Iranian people."

He continued: "The message warns against the continuation of US warmongering, asserting that persisting on this path will bring further costs and disgrace upon Washington. It also points to the resistance of combatants and the courageous people of southern Iran as an example of the Iranian nation's readiness and resolve."

Hojatoleslam Rafiee-Rad identified the emphasis on national unity as one of the most critical axes of the Leader's message. "By employing the keyword 'sacred unity,' his eminence has designated the preservation of solidarity among the people and officials as one of the most fundamental necessities of the current moment. He considers the realization of the Islamic Revolution's ideals, national dignity, independence, and confronting enemy threats as contingent upon maintaining this unity."

He added: "The message warns against discord, division, and the amplification of political disagreements and social differences. It stresses that despite differing viewpoints, as well as economic and social problems, fissures and disunity must not be allowed to take root in society."

The political affairs expert underscored: "Preserving unity is a collective duty, but officials and devoted forces of the Revolution bear a heavier responsibility in this regard. The Leader explicitly stated that anyone holding a position within the Islamic system, or anyone who considers themselves loyal to the Revolution, the Imam, and the martyrs, must take the lead in safeguarding societal cohesion and integrity, and refrain from any action that could sow division."

Rafiee-Rad, noting other aspects of the message, said: "The Leader of the Revolution also emphasized public trust in officials and faith in their efforts to secure the welfare and prosperity of the nation."

In conclusion, he stated: "Another crucial point in the message is the stress on vigilance and the active presence of the people on the scene. His eminence called upon the people to continue monitoring developments and the country's conditions with precision, insight, and active participation, and to persist in their role of safeguarding the Revolution and national interests."
