History Will Remember Iran's Martyred Leader as Guiding Light for Humanity: Global Peace Foundation Founder

A prominent Hindu leader and founder of India's Global Peace Foundation has stated that the faith, thought, and legacy of the martyred leader will transcend borders and continue to inspire freedom-seekers and future generations.

Hawzah News Agency- Shri Swami Sarang, a distinguished Hindu leader in India and founder of the Global Peace Foundation of India, has sent two separate messages of condolence on the martyrdom of the Leader of the Islamic Revolution, Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei, addressed to Ayatollah Seyyed Mojtaba Hosseini Khamenei and the Islamic Republic of Iran, expressing his deep sympathy and solidarity with the Iranian nation.

In his message, Swami Sarang stated: "There come moments in history when words prove incapable of expressing the truth, and it is history itself that speaks."

Referring to his journey to Iran to attend the funeral ceremony of the martyred leader, he stressed that this visit was not merely to witness the funeral of a leader, but to stand alongside a nation whose grief has become the common language of all free human beings. According to him, the passing of a great leader is not simply the end of an individual's life, but marks the close of a significant chapter in the history of a nation.

The founder of the Global Peace Foundation of India, paying tribute to the martyred Leader of the Islamic Revolution, stated: "Though his body has been laid to rest, his faith, will, character, thought, and school of thought will live on and serve as a guiding light for future generations."

Drawing upon the epic of Ashura, he added: "Karbala taught humanity that the greatness of a human being is measured not by the length of his life, but by the extent of his sacrifice in the path of truth. Just as Imam Hussein (peace be upon him) attained immortality through his sacrifice, all those who give their lives in the path of truth shall never be erased from history's memory."

Swami Sarang, citing the noble Quranic verse, "And never think of those who have been killed in the way of Allah as dead. Rather, they are alive with their Lord, receiving provision," stated: "This truth is not merely an Islamic teaching; rather, all great religions and civilizations of the world hold the belief that human beings who lay down their lives in the path of truth and justice remain forever alive and a source of inspiration."

He noted that as a son of one of the world's most ancient civilizations, he shares in the grief of the Iranian nation, emphasizing: "Those who dedicate their lives to faith, justice, human dignity, and the defense of truth continue to illuminate the path of guidance for humanity even after their passing."

In a separate condolence message addressed to Ayatollah Seyyed Mojtaba Hosseini Khamenei, Swami Sarang stated: "At times, divine decree subjects not only a family but an entire nation to a great trial." He added: "The loss of a great father and an eminent leader is a sorrow that cannot be contained within words, yet nations carry forward the path of their leaders by keeping their memory, thought, and ideals alive."

He described Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei as a figure far greater than a father, stating: "He embodied faith, knowledge, culture, wisdom, and leadership, and his guidance was a source of confidence, stability, and hope not only for his family but for the entire Iranian nation." In his view, the weighty responsibility of safeguarding this immense historical legacy now rests upon the shoulders of Ayatollah Seyyed Mojtaba Hosseini Khamenei.

The prominent Hindu leader, recalling the eternal message of Ashura, stated: "The uprising of Imam Hussein (peace be upon him) demonstrated that the legacy of truth-seeking and justice-seeking never perishes but rather endures in every age and for every generation." Pointing to the roles of Imam Sajjad (peace be upon him) and Lady Zainab al-Kubra (peace be upon her), he added: "These two great personalities, through their enlightenment and historic patience, kept the message of Ashura alive and transformed the culture of martyrdom into an everlasting heritage for all of humanity."

Swami Sarang expressed hope that Ayatollah Seyyed Mojtaba Hosseini Khamenei, by continuing his father's path, will succeed in strengthening the honor, independence, authority, cultural identity, and standing of the Islamic Republic of Iran.

He further stressed in his message that, as a representative of the ancient civilization of India, he does not merely express sympathy with the Iranian nation but also affirms the civilizational solidarity between the two nations, as both civilizations are founded upon values such as truth-seeking, justice, sacrifice, morality, and human dignity.

In conclusion, Swami Sarang prayed to Almighty God to bestow exalted ranks upon the martyred Leader of the Islamic Revolution, patience and steadfastness upon the Iranian nation, success and prosperity upon Ayatollah Seyyed Mojtaba Hosseini Khamenei and the officials of the Islamic Republic of Iran, and peace, justice, and the spread of human and moral values upon the world.
