Hawzah News Agency- Ayatollah Alireza Arafi, the Director of Islamic Seminaries, in an analytical statement, elaborated on the important messages of the multi-million-strong ceremonies of farewell, escort, and the historic funeral of the Martyred Imam in Iran and Iraq.
The Director of Iran’s Islamic Seminaries, in this analytical statement, referred to the issue of revenge and blood vengeance for the Martyred Imam and stipulated that based on the recent message of the Supreme Leader of the Revolution, the demand for revenge and blood vengeance for the Martyred Imam and the other martyrs of the two recent wars is a definite and certain matter, not tied to the coming and going of governments and related individuals, and will be realized in any case. The criminals and perpetrators of these crimes will never feel safe from now on, and they will surely take their wish for a peaceful death in bed to the grave. This revenge will be pursued on an international and comprehensive scale with the resolve of the freedom-seekers of the world.
The Agreement Is Over / Do Not Continue Negotiations
The member of the Jurists of the Guardian Council also pointed to the repeated violations of the agreement between Iran and the United States by the criminal enemy, stating in this regard: Now that the enemy, through threats, insults, military attacks, the imposition of economic sanctions, non-payment of reparations, non-return of the country's wealth, the absence of a ceasefire and the withdrawal of the usurping Israel from Lebanese soil, and subsequently by reinstating the naval blockade of Iran, has violated all clauses of the agreement, and now that the President of the United States has explicitly and brazenly announced the end of the agreement and initiated war, there remains no reason to adhere to the agreement and continue negotiations.
A Strategic Recommendation to High-Ranking Officials
His Excellency the President, who, on behalf of the members of the Supreme National Security Council, committed before the Supreme Leader of the Revolution and the zealous and resistant people of Iran to implement the clauses of the agreement and stand against America's excessive demands, and the other members of the Supreme National Security Council, commanders, and diplomatic officials of the country must consider the agreement as terminated, adopt the path of Jihad and steadfastness, and with complete obedience to the Supreme Leader of the Revolution, return to the very path that His Eminence has diagnosed.
Ayatollah Arafi emphasized this very important point that the great nation of Iran is not willing to pay tribute to the enemy due to economic problems and is ready to sacrifice to the last drop of its blood in the path of paving the way for the Reappearance and achieving the peak of victory. Therefore, officials should not compromise the rightful rights of the Islamic Ummah under the pretext of economic problems, fear of war costs, destruction of infrastructure, etc., and should not continue the path of negotiation and agreement with infidels who, according to the Holy Quran, adhere to no covenant ("...for they have no oaths").

In the Name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
"Among the believers are men who have been true to their covenant with Allah; of them some have fulfilled their vow, and some are waiting, and they have not changed in the least."
The historic and unprecedented funeral of the great and exalted Leader and the leader of the Islamic world, Grand Ayatollah Imam Khamenei, along with some members of his family in Tehran, Qom, Holy Najaf, Holy Karbala, and Holy Mashhad, and the symbolic funeral processions and mourning gatherings held in many countries and regions of the world, marked a very important turning point on the path towards the new Islamic civilization and paving the way for the reappearance of the great sun of guardianship, Imam Mahdi (may God hasten his noble reappearance). The presence of tens of millions of people with red flags of blood vengeance and cries of revenge turned this funeral into the largest and most unprecedented funeral in history.
This funeral was a manifestation of the people's infinite love for their guardian, a love that God places in the hearts of the believers for those of faith and righteous deeds: "Indeed, those who have believed and done righteous deeds - the Most Merciful will appoint for them affection."
The atmosphere prevailing over the funeral was a mixture of heavy mourning and a great epic. In bidding farewell to their Martyred Imam, the people displayed Husseini and Ashura-like passion and consciousness. These fervent emotions, a manifestation of the deepest layers of the faithful and revolutionary identity and a tremendous asset for the Islamic system, must be utilized in the path of the revolutionary movement and its sublime goals.
This massive funeral, which became a show of power by the Islamic Ummah and the Resistance Front against the front of disbelief and arrogance, enraged the psychotic and ill-mannered President of the United States, who, out of desperation, began to rant, threaten, and insult the great nation of Iran. Amidst this massive funeral, for the umpteenth time, contrary to his commitment in the agreement, he attacked points in the south and north of the dear country of Islamic Iran, and in recent days, he has explicitly and openly declared war and savagely attacked many areas in the country. In return, they received crushing and devastating blows from the powerful military forces of Iran. This funeral once again demonstrated to the world the logic of the victory of blood over the sword and the embrace of death and martyrdom by the Iranian nation and the Resistance Front. On the other hand, it solidified the logic of "We can," revealed the irreplaceable role of the people's will, presence, and resurgence in the country's resilience, growth, and progress, and showed the world that new dynamics in the world are changing.
Undoubtedly, this demonstration of power, resurgence, and astonishing epic of the Islamic Ummah in the funeral of the Martyred Imam, in these highly complex conditions of hybrid warfare, carries deep and strategic messages for officials, the people, committed seminaries and clergy, the Resistance Front, and the Islamic world.
Now that the Martyred Imam, along with these pure and sacred bodies, rests beside the compassionate Imam, Imam Reza (peace be upon him), the heavy burden of continuing the path to the peak of Reappearance falls on all of us, and elucidating these strategic messages for continuing the journey to that peak is essential.
While honoring the multi-million-strong epic of the people and offering condolences to the presence of the Imam of the Time (may God hasten his noble reappearance) and the Guardian of the Muslims, Grand Ayatollah Imam Sayyed Mojtaba Hosseini Khamenei (may his blessings endure), I express the strategic messages of this great historical movement and note the duties that we must henceforth pursue.
The Message of Blood Vengeance and Revenge Against the Killers of the Martyred Imam of the Islamic Revolution
The funeral of the Martyred Imam and the red Ashura flags raised in the hands of the people indicated that revenge and blood vengeance for the Martyred Imam is the legal and Sharia right of this nation and all freedom-seekers of the world. Amidst the massive wave of the funeral crowd, the cries of "Revenge" and "Ya Latharat al-Khamenei" and the demand for the killing of Trump and Netanyahu resonated louder than any other call.
The waving of red flags, which in religious culture symbolizes blood vengeance, carried this explicit and decisive message to the enemies and aggressors that the nation is serious in taking revenge for the pure blood of its Martyred Imam and all the martyrs of these two wars from the criminal and dishonorable killers.
Revenge and Blood Vengeance for the Martyred Imam Is Not Tied to the Coming and Going of Governments and Individuals
As our dear Leader stated in his recent message on the occasion of the funeral and burial of Iran's Martyr, the blood vengeance for the Martyred Imam who lived like Husayn (PBUH) and was martyred like Hussain, and the blood vengeance for the Hussainis who were martyred in the two recent imposed wars in the path of Imam Hussain (PBUH), is a continuation of the blood vengeance for Hussain (PBUH) and his companions, which is especially emphasized in the Supplication of Nudbah and the Ziyarat of Ashura.
Thus, based on the recent message of the Supreme Leader of the Revolution, the demand for revenge and blood vengeance for the Martyred Imam and the other martyrs of the two recent wars is a definite and certain matter, not tied to the coming and going of governments and related individuals, and will be realized in any case. The criminals and perpetrators of these crimes will never feel safe from now on, and they will surely take their wish for a peaceful death in bed to the grave. This revenge will be pursued on an international and comprehensive scale with the resolve of the freedom-seekers of the world.
The international media well understood this loud cry of the Islamic Ummah and interpreted it as a "maneuver of national will" that will alter the calculations of the enemies. The criminal enemy of the time, Yazid-like, trembled from this message and has increased the level of protection for its officials and commanders.
Undoubtedly, the enemy must pay the price for this crime so that it does not dare to commit such an act again. Henceforth, the people must keep this flame of revenge alive in their hearts until its realization and transform it into a steadfast determination to traverse the same path that the Martyred Imam irrigated with his blood.
We, like our Leader, pledge to take revenge for the pure blood of the Martyred Imam and all the martyrs of these two wars from the criminal killers and call upon the officials, military forces, all Shias, Muslims, and free people of the world to seriously rise for the realization of this rightful demand of the Islamic Ummah. Therefore, it is necessary for all officials of the system, governing institutions, grassroots, clergy, students, preachers, all segments of the people, as well as the valiant and zealous individuals of the world, to respond to this important matter and prepare and facilitate the grounds for its realization.
The Message of Continuing Jihad and Resistance and Returning to the In-Principle Opinion of the Leader / The Agreement Is Over
The clear and explicit message of the people in this epic presence was the demand for the continuation of Jihad and resistance and a return to the in-principle opinion of the Leader. The Great Iranian Nation Does Not Pay Tribute to the Enemy / Do Not Continue the Path of Negotiation Out of Fear of War Costs
Let esteemed officials note that the very same people who are under economic pressure from the war and the mismanagement of some economic officials are the ones making this demand. This means that the great nation of Iran is not willing to pay tribute to the enemy due to economic problems and is ready to sacrifice to the last drop of its blood in the path of paving the way for the Reappearance and achieving the peak of victory. Therefore, officials should not compromise the rightful rights of the Islamic Ummah under the pretext of economic problems, fear of war costs, destruction of infrastructure, etc., and should not continue the path of negotiation and agreement with infidels who, according to the Holy Quran, adhere to no covenant ("...for they have no oaths"). They must, with trust in God the Almighty and firm hope in the divine traditions and promises stated in verses such as: "O you who have believed, if you support Allah, He will support you and plant firmly your feet" (47:7), "Fight them; Allah will punish them by your hands and will disgrace them and give you victory over them and satisfy the breasts of a believing people" (9:14), "How many a small company has overcome a large company by permission of Allah. And Allah is with the patient" (2:249), and verses 41:30, 46:13, 72:16, 3:160, and many other verses, and also with the support of this faithful, revolutionary, insightful, guardianship-loyal, self-sacrificing, and resistant nation, continue Jihad from a position of power until the complete desperation of the enemy and the attainment of revenge, reparations, the country's frozen wealth, and the recognition of the right to full management of the Strait of Hormuz and other conditions specified by the Leadership.
The Message of Unity and Greatness of the Resistance Front and the Islamic World
In this funeral, it became clear that at the peak of the onslaught and villainy of the American and Zionist enemy in the last two or three years, the life and growth of the Resistance Front continues more than ever, and the Resistance Front has not only not weakened but its new sprouts have been clearly visible, and a chain, stronger than two years ago, has emerged in it.
The message of unity and being a single hand of the Resistance Front against disbelief and arrogance was one of the most important messages of this massive funeral. The presence of a significant number of officials and people from Iraq, Lebanon, Syria, Yemen, and other Islamic countries in the funeral ceremonies in Tehran, Qom, and Mashhad, the glorious and astonishing funeral of the sacred body of the Martyred Imam and his family in Najaf and Karbala, and the remarkable presence of the mourning people of Iraq and the participation of many officials and people from Iraq, Lebanon, Yemen, and Syria in this ceremony conveyed the message of the unity of the Resistance Front to the world.
This funeral indicated the interconnectedness of the hearts of all Islamic nations and the orientation of the hearts of all zealous individuals and warriors of the Islamic world, beyond geographical borders, and was, in fact, a new leaf of the unified identity of the Islamic Ummah in the world. Also, the paying of respects by officials of non-hostile Islamic countries to the pure and sacred bodies of these martyrs and the symbolic funeral processions and mourning gatherings held in many Islamic countries displayed a manifestation of the unity of the Islamic world and proved the transnational and global status of the Martyred Leader of the Revolution among Muslims.
This unity is a tremendous asset for the Islamic world and a firm response to the divisive conspiracies of the enemies. This unity must be protected and expanded and strengthened day by day. Officials in the military and diplomatic fields must provide the necessary support for the Resistance Front, especially in Iraq, Lebanon, and Yemen, and the people must also demand this unity more than ever in the streets.
The Message of the Unbreakable Bond of the Clergy with the Leadership and the People
The passionate and prominent presence of the clergy in this historic funeral, in the position of servants, guides, and companions, demonstrated the unbreakable bond of the clergy with the Imam, the Islamic Ummah, and the Resistance Front. Especially the presence of the Grand Sources of Emulation, prominent scholars, and professors of the seminaries of Qom and Holy Najaf in the funeral ceremony showed the deep and unbreakable bond of the Marja'iyyah and the prominent clergy with the leadership of the Revolution, the people, and the current of Resistance.
The enemy has understood the importance of the role of the Marja's and the esteemed clergy in advancing the sacred goals of the Islamic Revolution for many years, and since the beginning of the Revolution, through physical assassination, character assassination, infiltration, and creating discord and hypocrisy, it has sought to weaken the position of the Marja'iyyah and clergy among the people and create division between the scholars, Marjas, and the Leadership. This massive presence of the clergy, prominent scholars, and Grand Marjas in the prayer and funeral ceremonies showed that the enemy's schemes have not been effective, and the esteemed clergy stands more than ever with the people, in their service, and devoted to the Leadership.
It is necessary for the faithful people and the esteemed clergy to protect this sacred bond, and the esteemed clergy must make this bond stronger and broader day by day through sincere and devoted service to the people.
The Message of Renewing Allegiance to the Wise Leader of the Revolution and Supporting the Islamic System
At the heart of this great epic, a silent but crushing "referendum" took place. The Muslim and revolutionary people of Iran and the world, in this massive gathering, renewed their allegiance with the new Leader, Grand Ayatollah Sayyed Mojtaba Khamenei. This allegiance of tens of millions, which was heard along the funeral procession route with chants of "Our lives be sacrificed for the Leader" and "Labbaik Ya Khamenei," showed that the new Leadership enjoys tremendous popular support from the very beginning and that the people are loyal to the Islamic system based on the Guardianship of the Jurist.
The covenant of loyalty of the Ummah with the righteous successor of the Martyred Imam as the Leader of the Islamic System arises from an unparalleled insight into the thought of guardianship and Imamate in the deep-rooted Shia culture, which will be path-opening in moving towards the peaks of the Ummah's greatness and honor.
This allegiance, which entails complete obedience and total support for the Leadership, expands the authority of the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution in steering the ship of the revolution and bringing it to the beautiful shore of Reappearance.
Undoubtedly, in this hybrid and cognitive war, the enemy will use all its effort to break or weaken this covenant. The esteemed clergy and the guardianship-loyal people must enhance insight through the Jihad of Clarification and thereby thwart the enemy's schemes.
The Message of the Ummah's Adherence to Islam and Islamic Values
The widespread, passionate, epic presence of the people, accompanied by mourning, sighs, and tears in the funeral of the Martyred Imam who was Husseini, thought like Hussain, moved like Hussain, waged Jihad and resisted like Hussain, lived like Hussain, and offered his blood like Hussain in the path of the school of Imam Hussain, and spent his life preserving Islamic foundations, principles, goals, rulings, and commands and revolutionary values, conveyed this message to the world that the people adhere to Islam and Islamic values and rulings, and to preserve Islam, they are ready, like their Imam, to sacrifice their lives and their children.
Over many years, through cultural invasion and the promotion of debauchery, recklessness, and worldliness, the enemy put great effort into cultural metamorphosis, promoting a Western lifestyle, and separating the people from Islam, and was relatively successful. The Martyred Imam repeatedly warned of this danger and expressed his concern about this issue. This presence, with this message, showed that thanks to the blood of the martyrs of the two wars, especially the pure blood of the Martyred and Oppressed Imam, the people have turned to Islam more than ever and with all their being, and this blood has largely neutralized the enemy's cultural invasion. Nevertheless, this danger still remains. It is necessary for the country's cultural officials, the esteemed clergy, and all faithful and revolutionary forces to feel responsible for this great danger, seize the opportunity provided by this pure blood, and by formulating correct and efficient economic and cultural policies and effective and pleasant Jihad of Clarification and Eloquent Message, neutralize the enemy's schemes in this regard and accelerate the movement towards the formation of the Islamic Ummah and civilization.
The Message of Humiliation and Failure of the Enemy's Plans and Schemes
One of the important messages of this funeral was that the arrogant American and Zionist enemy understood that, despite the great schemes it had for the Iranian nation and despite the troubled dreams it had for the defeat of the Islamic System, with the steadfastness of the Leadership, the zealous nation, and the powerful and valiant military forces of Iran, all these schemes resulted in humiliating and disgraceful defeat.
In the face of the glory and greatness of the Iranian nation, America and Israel have been drawn towards decline and destruction, and it is near that America will be forced to pack up from the region, and West Asia will be cleansed of their filthy existence. On the other hand, the governments of the region will also soon understand that they should never fear America, and that serving America and dependence on the Satan has never brought them any benefit or expediency, and they have no choice but to cut off their dependence on the detested America and Israel.
In the following, I note three important points:
A) It is necessary for the presence of the people on the streets to continue with more passion and consciousness than before, and this presence should not cease until the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution announces it.
Respected officials must also provide the grounds for this presence more than before and know that this presence supports the military forces on the battlefield, supports the country's officials in the field of service, and supports the country's diplomatic officials in this arena. On the other hand, this presence provides the ground for propagating Islamic rulings and values and institutionalizing these values in the hearts and souls of the people, and serves as an arena for greater participation of the people in solving the country's economic and cultural problems and realizing religious democracy in the true sense of the word.
It must be noted that the great resurgence of the Iranian nation in the recent period is a clear manifestation of the greatness, honor, and glory of the Islamic Revolution of Iran. In the message of the Supreme Leadership of the Revolution on the occasion of the funeral and burial of the Martyred Imam, while pointing to this nationwide popular resurgence, its origin is also mentioned. According to His Eminence, the Ashura of Hussain (PBUH) is a reflection and echo of the Prophetic resurgence in the depths of human history, due to which the Islamic Revolution came into being, and due to this same echo, the resurgence of the people has also been achieved. The effects and dimensions of this popular presence and resurgence will guarantee the attainment of the lofty goals and ideals of the Revolution by the Islamic System, God willing.
B) Preserving national unity and cohesion based on the axis of Truth and the Guardian of Affairs, especially in these complex conditions of hybrid warfare, is among the most important obligations. Officials, various segments of the people, and the esteemed clergy must, with complete obedience to the Supreme Leadership, guard this unparalleled divine blessing and refrain from any movement, statement, or writing that weakens this cohesion.
Undoubtedly, preserving national unity and cohesion based on this axis does not mean silence in the face of officials' miscalculations or performance errors. On the contrary, criticizing officials and making rightful demands of them, if not accompanied by slander, disrespect, or transgression against them, contributes to unity and cohesion on this axis.
Praise be to God, our officials, as our dear Leader stated in his message about the agreement, strive with good intentions and compassion. God willing, from now on, with the experience they have gained from this negotiation and agreement; by increasing their obedience to the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution, they will correct their miscalculations and fulfill the commitment they have made to the Leadership and the people.
C) All officials and decision-makers of the Islamic System must use this great opportunity that has arisen in the third imposed war and seek to build the model of this country and system based on the solid logic of Islam, the guidelines of the Grand Sources of Emulation, the foundations, principles, and thought of the Two Imams of the Revolution, and the Supreme Leadership of Grand Ayatollah Sayyed Mojtaba Khamenei (may God protect him), as well as the culture of resistance and steadfastness and revolutionary rationality, and block the path for any conspiracy and cunning of the arrogant enemy.
In conclusion, I once again offer my condolences on the martyrdom of the Martyred Imam of the Islamic Revolution, his family members, and the martyrs of the two recent imposed wars to the presence of the Guardian of the Age, Imam Mahdi (may God hasten his noble reappearance) and his rightful deputy, our dear, patient, and courageous Leader, Grand Ayatollah Sayyed Mojtaba Hosseini Khamenei. On behalf of all revolutionary and committed clerics, together with him and the zealous people of Iran, we pledge to sacrifice our lives, wealth, and honor in the path of our Martyred Imam until the peak of Reappearance.
"And victory is not but from Allah, the Exalted in Might, the Wise."
