The True Worth of Servants is Revealed in the Arena of Divine Trial
Ayatollah Mohsen Araki, member of the presiding board of the Assembly of Experts and member of the Supreme Council of Islamic Seminaries, addressed the gathering, expounding on the dimensions of the martyred leader's personality and the critical importance of avenging his blood.
Ayatollah Araki reflected on the philosophy of divine trials, stating that worldly life is a testing ground for humanity and that the true worth and measure of servants become manifest in the arena of divine examination. He noted that this divine precedent applies not only to ordinary people — prophets and saints have always faced the most severe tests, with Prophet Abraham serving as a prominent example.
The senior cleric and member of the Expediency Discernment Council added that Prophet Abraham (PBUH) was tested across multiple domains — his life, wealth, and faith — with the most difficult stage being the command to sacrifice his son Ismail, demonstrating that offering one's youth in the path of God is among the heaviest of divine trials.
Ayatollah Araki stressed that while Prophet Abraham emerged triumphantly from these tests, a single individual cannot guide the world toward salvation alone. Realizing this goal requires a loyal and devoted ummah to keep the banner of Islam raised high.
The Resistance Front Continues the Path of Imam Ali and Imam Hussein (PBUT)
Ayatollah Araki declared that the Resistance Front taking shape across the world today is the continuation of the path of Imam Ali and Imam Hussein. The emergence of an Islamic society, he said, represents a monumental event whose fulfillment demands the necessary groundwork to guide human primordial nature toward God.
The beginning of this great movement, he explained, lies in creating a spiritual force capable of drawing human hearts and innate dispositions toward the Almighty, thereby setting the stage for the formation of an Islamic society.
Turning to the question of blood vengeance, Ayatollah Araki emphasized that avenging the blood of Imam Hussein (PBUH) means the fire and fervor of the Ashura uprising will never be extinguished in the hearts of Shias — this flame will persist until the total annihilation of the front of oppression.
Martyrdom of the Mujahid Leader Revives the Fervor of Hussein
The Assembly of Experts member stated that the martyrdom of the Islamic Revolution's mujahid leader revives that very Husseini fervor, once again drawing the attention of nations to the message of Ashura and Karbala. This martyrdom sets societies in motion and awakens slumbering human dispositions so that the path of truth, justice, and resistance may continue with even greater strength.
US Military Forces Are Obligatory to Kill by God's Decree
