International Muslim Women’s Day Marked in Turkey with Tribute to Hazrat Fatima Zahra

A spiritual and cultural ceremony marking International Muslim Women’s Day was held in Turkey by the Kausar Foundation, bringing together women and families in commemoration of the birth anniversary of Hazrat Fatima Zahra (peace be upon her).

Hawzah News Agency- The program was organized by the Women’s Branch of the Kausar Foundation at the Ahlul Bayt Mosque in the Kausar Cultural Center and drew strong participation from members of the local Muslim community and admirers of the Ahlul Bayt (peace be upon them).

Participants highlighted the deep connection between Surah al-Kausar and the character of Hazrat Fatima Zahra (PBUH), emphasizing the chapter’s spiritual and ethical message and its relevance to personal and social life, particularly for Muslim women.

Upon arrival, attendees were welcomed by members of the Kausar Women’s Branch and presented with symbolic gifts bearing the theme of Palestine, in a gesture underscoring solidarity with the Palestinian people and support for oppressed nations.

Speaking on behalf of the organizing committee, Belgin Güneş welcomed the participants and congratulated them on International Muslim Women’s Day. She underlined the importance of drawing inspiration from the life, conduct, and moral excellence of Hazrat Fatima Zahra (peace be upon her), describing her as a timeless model for faith, patience, social responsibility, and resistance in the face of injustice.

The program featured poetry recitations, speeches focusing on the life and virtues of Hazrat Zahra (peace be upon her), collective prayers, and the presentation of special gifts to participants named Fatima and Zahra in honor of the occasion.

Organizers said the event aimed to strengthen spiritual awareness, reinforce the role of Muslim women in society, and promote unity within the community. They expressed appreciation for the strong turnout and reaffirmed their commitment to continuing similar programs that foster spirituality, solidarity, and love for the Ahlul Bayt (peace be upon them).
