Hawzah News Agency- The two prominent religious and academic institutions are overseen by Professor Zahir Yahya, an Al-Mustafa University alumnus and a well-known figure in Islamic educational activities in the region.
The visit, held in the presence of administrators, faculty members, and officials from both centers, provided the Al-Mustafa International University president with a firsthand look at the diverse educational, cultural, and spiritual programs currently being implemented. The warm reception by students and staff reflected the strong religious and scholarly atmosphere that has shaped these institutions as key hubs of Islamic learning in Indonesia.
Hojatoleslam Abbasi commended the centers’ administrators and educators for their tireless efforts, highlighting the remarkable discipline, sincerity, and collective commitment visible in their operations. He praised the students’ intellectual vitality and spiritual devotion, noting that such enthusiasm represents a promising foundation for the growth of Islamic education in Southeast Asia.
“Cultural and educational work among the younger generation is among the most noble, enduring, and impactful forms of service,” Hojatoleslam Abbasi said during a brief address. “What we witness in these centers is a clear manifestation of dedication to promoting religious and moral values within Indonesian society. The achievements here demonstrate that when sincerity and effort come together, transformative results follow.”
At the beginning of the meeting, Professor Zahir Yahya, head of the al-Kawthar Educational Complex, delivered a detailed report outlining the centers’ ongoing programs, strategic objectives, and recent accomplishments. He emphasized that both the al-Kawthar Complex and the Misbah al-Huda Husseiniya were established to advance Islamic teachings, cultivate piety and intellectual depth among youth, and nurture a generation committed to serving the Muslim Ummah.
Yahya added that the institutions have taken significant strides in expanding religious education, offering structured academic curricula alongside community-based initiatives aimed at strengthening Islamic identity among Indonesian youth.
