Hawzah News Agency- In a strongly worded statement, the scholars declared that anyone claiming one nation holds inherent superiority over another in the essence of Islam is either ignorant or deliberately feigning ignorance, emphasizing that all grace belongs to God alone.
"Whoever claims that one nation is superior to another in the essence of this religion is either ignorant or has chosen to ignore the truth," the statement read. "All favor is from God, and any claim to superiority among nations and individuals rests solely on their adherence, sincerity, and sacrifice for this faith."
Prophetic Message: A Mercy for All, Not One Race
The scholars asserted that the rule of Bahrain, "belittling the intellect of the people and the station of the final prophetic mission," has sought to transform divine guidance into a human favor and confine God's grace to one nation over another.
"The Muhammadan message was not sent for a specific people or a particular race," they declared. "It is a mercy that God Almighty has bestowed upon all the worlds—Arab and non-Arab, white and black—equally and without distinction."
They stressed that obedience to the Prophet and his purified household is the sole criterion distinguishing genuine adherence to the faith from false claims, with piety being the only measure of nearness to God and His religion.
Where Is the Sacrifice? Scholars Pose Blunt Questions
The scholars challenged the ruler to ask himself a series of pointed questions: "Who today stands at the frontlines of the Ummah, sacrificing wealth, life, and children in defense of this Islam? Who fights the enemies of the Ummah and confronts global arrogance in defense of Jerusalem and the sanctities? Who raised the banner of resistance when many had retreated from it?"
The answer, they said, is clear to anyone with insight: "It is the Islamic Republic, under the leadership of the qualified jurist, with all its institutions, political commanders, and united popular ranks, that has given and continues to give everything precious in defense of Islam, its revolution, its state, and its pious and wise guardianship."
Persecution of Clergy Exposes Hypocrisy
The Bahraini scholars turned the ruler's posturing on its head, demanding: "Which Islam grants you and those like you the license to imprison, exile, and displace the scholars of the Ummah, and to pursue students of religious sciences and preachers of the message?"
They accused the Bahraini regime of waging war against the inheritors of the prophets—the authentic jurists and religious authorities—to the point of prosecuting and severely punishing their followers for adhering to their religious rulings.
"Is it from the Islamic message that you permit yourself to boast of favor over others on its behalf?" the statement asked.
Call to Stand With Islam, Not Against It
In conclusion, the scholars called on Iranians and all free people of the Ummah to demand that the purveyor of these "hollow statements" stand in the ranks of Islam's defenders rather than insult it, direct his sword against the enemies of the Ummah rather than its faithful sons, and choose to be an ally of Islamic resistance rather than a supporter of its adversaries.
"How does the author of these statements allow himself to speak in the name of Islam and claim to represent it, when he himself is nothing of the sort?" the statement concluded.
