Hawzah News Agency- Delivering Friday prayer sermons in Karachi, Maysami described Palestine as the “first Qibla of the Islamic Ummah,” declaring that no occupation of this land by the Zionist regime will ever be legitimate.
He praised the sacrifices of the people of Gaza, calling their resistance a “golden chapter” in the struggle for self-determination and the survival of Palestine. “These sacrifices safeguard the independence of Palestine and will shape its future,” he said.
Warning against policies that endorse partition plans, the Pakistani scholar stressed that supporting a two-state solution ignores the blood and sacrifices of Gaza’s martyrs and contradicts both the principles of Pakistan’s founder, Muhammad Ali Jinnah, and the sentiments of the Pakistani nation.
Maysami also drew attention to the dire humanitarian crisis in Gaza, citing genocide, siege, and famine. He noted that global protests, from Europe to the United States, have amplified calls to end Israel’s aggression.
Emphasizing the duty of Pakistan’s leadership, he said: “The government must take a clear and firm stance in defense of the Palestinian people. No two-state solution is acceptable. The only rightful path is the establishment of a fully independent Palestinian state on the holy land of Palestine.”
