Hawzah News Agency- According to the Palestine Information Center, Hamas called on all nations, especially Arab and Muslim states, to participate in a week-long international demonstration under the slogan “Gaza Screams” to draw more attention to the plight of the besieged Palestinians.
The movement said in a statement on Tuesday: “We call for the mobilization of all forces and means during the coming week to support the resistance in Gaza and condemn the aggression of the Zionist regime, as well as support for our call to end the genocide in Gaza, which is possible by intensifying gatherings, including rallies, sit-ins and protests in capitals, cities and squares around the world.”
Hamas also called for Friday, Saturday and Sunday (April 18-20) to be designated as days of global outrage against the occupation, US support and international complicity.
The movement also welcomed popular calls and global unions, calling on people to turn Tuesday, April 22, into a global day of student and union strikes, across universities and educational institutions, in solidarity with Gaza and support for its besieged people.
