Hawzah News Agency- In a statement the vice-chairman of the Supreme Islamic Assembly of Shiites of Lebanon Sheikh Ali Al-Khatib has expressed his condolences on the martyrdom of Mohammad Afif, the media chief of Hezbollah, and his companions who were martyred with him in the attack of the Zionists.
Sheikh Al-Khatib stated,” Martyr Muhammad Afif has a special place in my heart and in my mind, which goes back to many years ago when he accompanied us in the city of Najaf Ashraf.”
He added,” His loss created a great void and caused deep sorrow in me, but I am proud of this resistance fighter who dedicated his life to struggle and jihad.”
The Vice-Chairman of the Supreme Shiite Assembly further stated,” Martyr Afif believed in his great cause since his childhood and was brought up in a home that, following his late father Sheikh Afif Al-Nabolsi, did not know defeat nor surrender.”
In the end, he said,” This martyr, along with his companions and the leader of the resistance Seyed Hassan Nasrallah, was a role model who knew his position and abilities and was able to move the media of the party and the resistance to a credible and worthy position.”
