Hawzah News Agency- Grand Ayatollah Alireza Arafi has issued a statement regarding the martyrdom of Yahya al-Sinwar, the head of Palestinian Resistance Hamas, in the hands of the Zionist regime. The text of his message follows:
"And do not count those who are slain in the path of Allah as dead. Rather, they are alive before their Lord getting sustenance." —Holy Quran
We condole and congratulate the Islamic Ummah, all fighters of the resistance front, the zealous and striving Palestinian nation, the honorable Hamas, specially the family and survivors, the heroic martyrdom of the brave commander of Islam, the revolting and striving spirit of Palestine, author and thinker of the Resistance, Abu Ibrahim Yahya Sinwar, the late head of the political bureau of Hamas who attainted the blessing of martyrdom in the hands of the bloodthirsty Zionist regime while fighting with admirable bravery in the front line.
This great martyr put his life on the line fighting the fabricated terrorist Israel through years of noble and tireless fight in the battlefield, and via intelligent skill and struggle enhanced the combat structure of Hamas movement for fighting the enemy during two decades of detention in the shackles of the murderous criminal Zionist regime, and ultimately brought a turning point to the region by designing the proud operation Al-Aqsa Flood, striking an irreparable blow to the existence of this thoroughly vile entity and finally reaching the grace of martyrdom in the battlefield a year after this glorious operation and after having experienced the additional honor of physical disability.
Doubtlessly, the world will soon witness the decline and collapse of this bloodthirsty, petty, fake regime as the axis of mischief in the region and the Islamic world, and the last day of this criminal gang and cancerous tumor which is struggling in a quagmire of confusion will soon arrive.
The seminary centers view the martyrdom of the heroic Sinwar along with other commanders of the resistance front as Divine proof of righteousness of this cause, and considers Divine aid and fulfillment of Allah's promises definite and certain. This soul requests Allah the Almighty the highest stations for all martyrs of the cause of resistance who are indeed martyrs of the cause of monotheism, humanity, justice, dignity and honor.
