Hawzah News Agency- Mrs. Seyedah Zohreh Borqei, chancellor of Jamiat Al-Zahra University, and the accompanying delegation have paid a visit to the shrine of Sheikh Ahmed Qomi on the sidelines of the fourth regional gathering of international scholars in Ayutthaya region in Thailand.

Sheikh Ahmed Qomi was one of the scholars born in Qom who immigrated to Thailand in the 10th century AH to preach Islam and Shiism there, and after some time he became the Sheikh of Islam in this country.

The mausoleum of Sheikh Ahmad is located in the Teacher Training College of Ayutthaya, Thailand.
