Curbing inflation, stabilizing the market and utilizing people's capacities, especially the private sector, in economic activities were among the recommendations of Top Shia cleric Grand Ayatollah Jafar Sobhani to the president of Iran Hujjat al-Islam Ebrahim Raisi.

Hawzah News Agency- Shia source of emulation Grand Ayatollah Jafar Sobhani received Iran’s President Hujjat al-Islam Seyyed Ebrahim Raisi in his office in the city of Qom on Monday, August 21 while appreciating the services of the government and thanking the president for his special attention to cultural issues including Islamic hijab, The Shia cleric emphasized the need to protect religious values in different parts of society, especially offices and Government institutions.”

Controlling inflation, stabilizing the market and utilizing people's capacities, especially the private sector, in economic activities were among other recommendations of Grand Ayatollah Sobhani to the president.

In this meeting, Hujjat-ul-Islam Seyyed Ebrahim Raisi also listed compassion for the people, concern for religious values and warning the officials about religious issues and people's livelihood among the prominent features of the Shia sources of emulations and stated,” the government's efforts in the past two years have always been addressing the concerns of scholars and top Shia authorities.”

Emphasizing that the government has never and will not tie people's livelihood to foreign governments, the president stated,” 4% economic growth, 6% production growth and record-breaking foreign trade of 53 billion dollars by developing relations with regional countries, among other measures indicate the progress of the country.”

The Iranian president further considered the positive economic indicators and the declining trend of inflation to be a confirmation of the realization of these goals.

He also pointed to the problems of implementing privatization in the previous years, which caused the closure of many production units, and stated,” In this period, in addition to reforming the transfer process, the revival of closed factories is on the agenda of the government, and we are determined to take over all the affairs instead and let the country play the role of guidance, support and supervision in the best possible way.”
