Hawzah News Agency- Hujjat al-Islam Seyyed Mahdi Alizadeh Mousavi, seminary professor was a keynote speaker in the specialized meeting on the role of Wahhabism and Takfiri currents in the lack of proximity among religions and the realization of the new Islamic civilization from the series of meetings of the National Conference on the Proximity of Islamic Religions and New Islamic Civilization in the Second Step of the Revolution.
During the meeting which was organized by the director of Civilization Scientific Group of Baqir al-Olum Research Institute, he explained the concepts of takfiri movements, Wahhabism, approximation and modern Islamic civilization, and further investigated the role of takfiri currents in the approximation between Muslims and its effect in creating a new Islamic civilization.
