"Imam Musa Sadr regarded religion as a unifying source"

"According to Imam Musa Sadr's doctrine, religion is not the cause of division or discord among people, rather it serves as a source of unity" said Member of Iranian Assembly of Experts./ "Imam Musa Sadr regarded religion as the greatest source of cooperation, solidarity and unity among people of the world."

Hawzah News Agency (Tehran, Iran) – Hujjat al-Islam Ahmad Moballeqi attended a ceremony in the meeting hall of Iranian National Library in Tehran on Sunday, February 25 to unveil the new encyclopedia consisting of late Imam Khomeini’s speeches, interviews and articles.

 

Paying tribute to missing Shia cleric Imam Musa Sadr, Hujjat al-Islam Moballeqi asserted, "Imam Musa Sadr was a knowledgeable scholar and a futuristic figure; some issues that are recently being raised in Islamic seminaries, were already addressed by Imam Musa Sadr since he was ahead of his own time."

 

 

 

The Iranian cleric further noted, "Imam Musa Sadr believed in Allah almighty, religion and people. In his point of view, Allah almighty is regarded as God of all religions, life, love, kindness and he is the source of all passion and forgiveness in every society. Imam Musa Sadr lived his life according to divine teachings, and he was always trying to obey almighty Allah."

 

Member of Iranian Assembly of Experts went on to remark, "According to Imam Musa Sadr's doctrine, religion is not the cause of division or discord among people, rather it serves as a source of unity. He believed that religion does not cause division among followers of different faiths even in small details. Imam Musa Sadr regarded religion as the greatest source of cooperation, solidarity and unity among people of the world."
