Hawzah News Agency (Tehran, Iran) – Sayyed Abbas Salehi Amiri made some remarks on the influential character of missing Shia cleric Imam Musa Sadr during a ceremony to unveil a new encyclopedia consisting of late Imam Khomeini's speeches, interviews and articles in Tehran on Sunday, February 25.
Iranian minister paid tribute to missing Shia scholar saying, "Imam Musa Sadr’s achievements in Lebanon are remarkable. This great personality gained such a social position in Lebanon which is, to some extend, unparalleled in the Islamic world."
He went on to say, "Imam Musa Sadr shortly became a social leader in Lebanon; that's why we should consider him as a social phenomenon. He managed to influence the Lebanese society as a leader in a really short period of time."
"There's a fundamental question as to how Imam Musa Sadr reached a high position in Lebanon to be regarded as a leader inside Lebanon and abroad; there needs to be so more research in this regard to find the answer to this significant question. Imam Musa Sadr had unique features." said Iranian minister of culture and Islamic guidance.
In the end, Salehi Amiri thanked the authors of new Imam Khomeini Encyclopedia for their efforts in gathering this amazing work.
