Hawzah News Agency- The delegation was headed by the department head, Sheikh Ammar Al-Hilali, who provided a detailed explanation of the department's programs and scientific projects in the fields of research and heritage revival, outlining the development paths and digital work adopted by the department in serving and disseminating Islamic heritage according to rigorous academic methodologies.
The institute includes thirteen specialised research centres in various Islamic and cultural fields and collaborates with one hundred faculty members and three hundred researchers. It also possesses a number of specialised scientific journals and known books, and employs the latest technologies in research work and scientific production.
At the end of the visit, both parties confirmed their desire to open broader horizons for research cooperation and the exchange of expertise. Meanwhile, the delegation from the Department of Knowledge Affairs extended an official invitation to the institute's administration to participate in the Karbala Heritage Centre and Basra Heritage Centre conferences scheduled for 2026, in support of scientific integration and the documentation of ongoing academic partnerships.
