Hawzah News Agency- Speaking at a ceremony in southern Lebanon, Hamdan recalled the legacy of Imam Musa Sadr in confronting aggression and deprivation, emphasizing that the same struggle continues today in areas like Sarfarand and Zarariyeh, which have given many martyrs.
He warned that despite the framework of UN Resolution 1701, the Zionist regime continues to occupy Lebanese territory and commit daily violations without accountability, while international envoys admit they cannot pressure Israel.
Hamdan condemned calls by certain political factions to disarm the resistance, saying such rhetoric ignores the ongoing occupation, Israeli attacks on civilians and property, and the government’s failure to support reconstruction efforts in war-affected villages.
“Resistance is the only real alternative for protecting Lebanon, especially in the south, amid the absence of effective government action,” he stressed.
