Hawzah News Agency- “It is fitting that we stand with respect and gratitude before those heroes who hold the pen as a divine trust and create light from words that reveal the truth and awaken consciences,” al-Abadi said.
He commended journalists for making “truth their mission, honesty their path, and the voice of the people their compass,” adding that their resistance against “the Zionist cyber armies” amounts to “a great and valuable jihad.”
Al-Abadi emphasized that the role of journalists has been “vital in all the battles waged by the heroes of the school,” noting that many victories would not have been possible without their “free and enlightening voice.”
“Journalists have always been torches of freedom and bridges between reality and ideals,” he said. “Journalist’s Day is not just a date on the calendar, but a reminder of the value of the honest word and the courage to write it in the most difficult conditions.”
He concluded by sending “thousands of greetings and respect to every pen of freedom that beats for the truth,” signing off as “your brothers who stand steadfast on the battlefields.”
