Religious Scholar: Zionist Actions Defy Human and Natural Laws

Hujjat al-Islam Morteza Agha Tehrani, speaking at the Holy Shrine of Hazrat Masoumeh (PBUH), denounced the crimes of the Zionist regime, stating that comparing Zionists to animals is an insult to animals, as even animals adhere to basic laws of nature and morality.

Hawzah News Agency- In his remarks during a religious gathering marking the month of Safar, Agha Tehrani emphasized that serving humanity is one of the highest forms of worship, adding that those who distance themselves from serving others have not truly understood the essence of religion.

"May God curse the likes of the Zionist regime that kills hungry children waiting in food lines," he said. "It is shameful to compare them to animals, for animals at least observe natural laws—these bloodthirsty beings do not."

The cleric warned that these "humanoid warmongers are spreading destruction across the earth" while true human beings must strive to purify their souls. "A soul that is free cannot be manipulated to commit endless crimes," he added.

Highlighting the significance of the month of Safar as a continuation of the message of Ashura, he called attention to the Arbaeen pilgrimage as a spiritual and revolutionary movement. “We must understand and follow the objectives of the Master of Martyrs (Imam Hussein, peace be upon him) during this time,” he said.

Quoting Imam Reza (AS), Hujjat al-Islam Agha Tehrani noted that God's presence can be felt in the inner suspicions of believers, and through contemplation on divine mercy and grace, a person can deepen their love for the Almighty.

Addressing broader human responsibility, he lamented the erosion of empathy and service in today's world. “Serving others for the sake of God is the core of religion,” he stated.

Turning to historical context, he discussed the tragedy of Karbala, stating that Imam Hussein (AS) was martyred at sunset on the 10th of Muharram, 61 AH, and that the captives from his household preserved the spirit of resistance through their steadfastness.

He emphasized the role of Imam Sajjad (AS) in confronting distortion and tyranny in The Levant by delivering powerful sermons that exposed Yazid's oppressive rule and awakened the public conscience.

“Yazid’s father, Muawiyah, had carefully maintained a facade of religiosity to entrench his rule,” Agha Tehrani said. “But when power passed to Yazid, the true face of oppression was revealed in the events of Karbala.”

He noted that Imam Sajjad’s eloquence and truthfulness in introducing the virtues of Imam Ali (AS) and the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) compelled Yazid to deny responsibility for the atrocities of Ashura.

Regarding current developments, Agha Tehrani asserted that recent conflicts in the region exposed the weakness of the Zionist regime. “Even the Zionists’ own analysis acknowledges that Iran emerged victorious in the recent confrontations, while the Zionist regime failed to achieve its objectives.”

He concluded by underscoring the importance of preserving and promoting true Islamic teachings, warning that ignorance and distortion can lead future generations astray. “We must both learn and teach the essence of Islam, so our children remain guided and unshaken by falsehood.”
