Hawzah News Agency- A joint meeting was convened between officials of the University of Religions and Denominations and the research deputy of the Women's Islamic Seminary management center to explore avenues of academic collaboration and broaden research cooperation.
During the meeting, Majid Mobini, dean of the Faculty of Social Sciences at the University of Religions and Denominations, outlined the faculty's educational capacities and expressed readiness to admit female seminary students into degree programs, as well as to organize joint short-term courses in cooperation with the Women's Islamic Seminary.
Seyyed Morteza Esmaeili Taba, head of the university's Department of Communications and Media, highlighted available opportunities for academic collaboration, pointing to courses in "Media Literacy" and "Content Production and Distribution Management" as practical axes for benefiting seminary students and affiliated centers.
Barzegar, head of the Department of Women and Family Studies, elaborated on shared research grounds and proposed holding summer and winter schools aimed at advancing the specialization of interested seminary students in the field of women and family studies.
In the concluding segment of the meeting, Hojatoleslam Habibullah Babaei, research deputy of the Women's Islamic Seminary, welcomed the proposals and stressed the need to pursue the renewal of the bilateral cooperation agreement. He underscored the research capacities of the Women's Islamic Seminary, citing the holding of 23 ISC-ranked conferences and the publication of several specialized academic journals, and called for utilizing the scholarly capacity of researchers and students from the University of Religions and Denominations through these channels.
At the conclusion of the session, representatives from both institutions were appointed to follow up on the decisions reached and to implement the agreed areas of cooperation.
