Hawzah News Agency- the President began his visit with a pilgrimage to the holy shrine of Hazrat Fatemeh Masoumeh (PBUH). He then visited the grave of Martyr Haj Ramazan Izadi, offering a prayer and paying tribute to the fallen commander.
As part of his itinerary, President Pezeshkian met with several senior religious figures, including Ayatollah Arafi, Director of the Islamic Seminaries of Iran.
He also visited the Shahid Raeisi Social Harm Reduction Center in the Tohid neighborhood, as well as the “Hess-e Khoob” (Good Feeling) Mother and Daughter Center, accompanied by local and national officials.
In a symbolic gesture, the President paid respects at the grave of an unknown martyr, honoring the memory of those who sacrificed their lives during the eight-year Iran–Iraq war.
Speaking on the sidelines of the visit, Dr. Pezeshkian said:
"Despite today being a public holiday, we decided to personally assess the state of social affairs in Qom. Addressing the problems of the people should not be bound by time."
