"Operation True Promise 3 Shakes Zionist Regime: Iranian Scholars Rally Behind Resistance"

University of Religions and Denominations urges scholars and intellectuals to support the Islamic resistance against Israel

Hawzah News Agency – The Assembly of Representatives of the University of Religions and Denominations has issued a strong statement condemning the latest acts of aggression by the Zionist regime against the Islamic Republic of Iran, hailing the recent retaliatory strikes—particularly Operation True Promise 3—as a powerful blow to the occupying entity and a symbol of the growing strength of Islamic resistance.

Referring to the Zionist regime as “child-killing” and “illegitimate,” the statement described the recent attack on Iranian territory as a criminal act that claimed the lives of innocent children, women, civilians, military commanders, and scientific figures.

Quoting the Qur’anic verse, "Permission [to fight] has been given to those who are being fought, because they were wronged. And indeed, Allah is competent to grant them victory” (Surah Al-Hajj: 39), the Assembly emphasized that the oppressed have a divinely sanctioned right to defend themselves against tyranny.

“The Zionist regime, fearing its inevitable downfall, has resorted to cowardly crimes in an attempt to sow fear among the people of Islamic Iran. But thanks to divine support, the unwavering resolve of the Iranian nation, and the leadership of the Supreme Commander-in-Chief, this campaign marks the beginning of the end for the Zionist entity,” the statement read.

The Assembly praised Operation True Promise 3 for shaking the confidence of the Zionist military and political establishment, stating that the retaliatory action demonstrated the capability and determination of the Islamic Republic in defending its sovereignty.

“The tremors sent through the limbs of the Zionist enemies were not just symbolic—they were a real indication that Islamic Iran stands as a decisive force in this historic confrontation,” the statement asserted.

The Assembly extended heartfelt condolences to the families of the martyrs—particularly those who served the country in scientific and technological advancement—and honored their sacrifices.

In a concluding call to action, the Assembly urged members of the academic and intellectual community, both within Iran and across the Muslim world, to stand in solidarity with the resistance front.

“We invite all scholars, thinkers, and elites to fulfill their duty by supporting the fighters of Islam’s resistance against the Zionist regime, and by raising awareness of the justice of this cause,” the statement concluded.
