Hawzah News Agency- On the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the establishment of the Qom Seminary, Hujjat al-Islam Seyyed Mohsen Azadi, Director of the Promotion of the Holy Quran and Hadith of the Seminaries, stated,” The Seminary of Qom, a cradle for the cultivation of great scholars and jurists under the guidance of prominent figures, has played an irreplaceable role in spreading Islamic knowledge and elevating morality in society.”
He continued,” The development of a noble personality like the Late Imam Khomeini (RA), who founded the Islamic Revolution from Feyziyeh Seminary with his divine inspiration, shows the depth of the impact of the Qom Seminary on historical developments and the revival of Islamic culture.”
“This movement, not only in Iran but also throughout the world, charted a new path for the fight against oppression and breathed new life into Islamic thought. Undoubtedly, this is one of the unique achievements of the seminaries, especially the Qom Seminary, whose results will remain until the Day of Judgment and will continue to be the guiding light for Islamic societies.” He added.
He concluded by saying,” The Qom Seminary has always been one of the main centers of interpretation, contemplation, and teaching of the Holy Quran. Training prominent interpreters, compiling extensive scientific research, holding interpretation competitions, and teaching recitation and Tajweed are examples of the activities of the seminary in this field.”
