Hawzah News Agency - According to the Palestinian information center, “This demonstration stands as a condemnation of the complicity of Keir Starmer’s government with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu in committing crimes of genocide and ethnic cleansing against the Palestinian people. This complicity is evident in the continued aerial surveillance operations carried out in support of the occupation, as well as the provision of spare parts for Israeli military aircraft and vehicles through British factories.”
The protest will be attended by prominent figures, including actor Khalid Abdalla, musician Paloma Faith, and actress Juliet Stevenson. Representatives from the organizations endorsing the protest will also be present, including:
● The Palestinian Forum in Britain
● The Palestine Solidarity Campaign
● The Stop the War Coalition
● The Campaign for Nuclear Disarmament (CND)
● Friends of Al-Aqsa
● The Muslim Association of Britain
The demonstration will also highlight the urgent need for the release of Palestinian prisoners, particularly Dr Hossam Abu Safiya. Additionally, it will condemn the repeated incursions and restrictions on freedom of worship at Al-Aqsa Mosque, especially during the last ten days of Ramadan, as well as the ongoing aggression in the West Bank, which is being coordinated with the Palestinian Authority.
The PFB underscores the significance of these actions as a means of expressing firm opposition to Israel’s continuous violations. “We call on everyone to take part actively in this upcoming protest and reaffirm our unwavering commitment to supporting the rights of the Palestinian people in the face of aggression and injustice.”
