Hawzah News Agency- The second secretary of the Supreme Council of Seminaries Ayatollah Marvi was a keynote speaker at the closing ceremony of the 11th Allameh Helli Festival held at Masoumiyeh Seminary in Qom during which he said,” The growth of any society is due to research. The infrastructure for producing science also relies on research capabilities. Islamic seminaries have presented great research studies in various Islamic sciences to the world since the distant past until today.”
The second secretary of the Supreme Council of Seminaries further noted,” Great scientists in the world fully confirm that the research of Shiite scholars in specialized fields is not only unique, but also unparalleled in history.”
Ayatollah Marvi went on to say that today, in addition to the scientific research of the religious scholars of Qom Seminary, which is a source of pride, the seminary officials announce that 6,000 prominent scholars are engaged in specialized research in various fields of humanities in the seminary.
The second secretary of the Supreme Council of Seminaries added,” The correct use of new and advanced technologies, including artificial intelligence, in the field of research is of great significance. In the vision of the seminaries, which was approved by the Supreme Council of Seminaries, the use of modern technologies while preserving the traditions of the righteous predecessors is fully stipulated. In this regard, we must also have a precise methodology.”
