Zionist regime is collapsing; Resistance ‘A hope for Islamic Ummah’

The head of the International Union of Resistance Scholars, analyzing the recent developments in the war in the occupied territories and Gaza, considered the victory of the resistance to be beyond the goals of the war and the narrative of history, and emphasized,” The Zionist regime has not only failed to achieve its sinister goals, but is also collapsing from within.”

Hawzah News Agency- Sheikh Maher Hamoud, Friday prayer imam of Sidon in Lebanon, had an interview with Hawzah News correspondent in the city of Mashhad, during which he provided an in-depth look at the situation in the recent war in the occupied territories and Gaza, providing analyses that are particularly important in the context of the victory of the resistance and the defeat of the Zionist regime.

The victory of the resistance, beyond the goals of the war and the narrative of history

Sheikh Maher Hamoud stated that victory in war cannot be assessed solely based on the number of victims or financial losses, and noted,” In recent wars, although many images of destruction and losses were propagated, at the strategic level, the Palestinian resistance was able to achieve victories that can redefine the history of wars from various dimensions.”

He added,” Although the Zionist regime was to destroy Hamas and prevent attacks similar to those of October 7, the real victory in this war lies not in the physical destruction of the enemy, but in the spiritual and strategic victory over the enemy who was constantly trying to destroy the resistance.”

Tel Aviv's Unattainable Goals

This Sunni scholar further analyzed the declared goals of the Zionist regime under the leadership of Benjamin Netanyahu and said,” Before the war began, Netanyahu had declared the main goal to be the destruction of the Hamas movement and other resistance groups. But after a while, Israeli officials came to the conclusion that this goal was completely unattainable and, as a result, limited their goals to paralyzing the resistance or eliminating its leaders, which also led to failure.”

Sheikh Hammoud continued to say that the Zionist regime eventually turned to a policy of “war of annihilation,” an approach that focused more on destroying vital infrastructure such as hospitals, bakeries, and shelters, but this policy not only failed, but also increased international pressure and tensions within Israeli society.”
