Hawzah News Agency- Senior Iraqi cleric Ayatollah Seyyed Mohammad Taqi Modarresi has emphasized the significance of volunteer services in a meeting with representatives of the Doctors' Charity Association, which was held in his office in Karbala, Iraq on Friday, January 17.
The top cleric said, "The service of believers, especially for the pilgrims of Imam Hussein (PBUH), has a special value, and this service brings a significant reward: the reward of the pilgrimage and the reward of serving the pilgrims."
He further noted, "Expanding a culture of volunteer services as a general value in society can strengthen the Husseini principles in the spirit of sacrifice and responsibility in helping those in need."
Ayatollah Modarresi also called on the representatives to take responsibility for promoting the religion and its principles, noting, "Calling to God and heavenly values is a duty that falls on all Muslims with different specializations and positions."
