Hawzah News Agency- “Yemeni heroes continue to defend their rights and challenge oppression and injustice with unparalleled bravery and a determination strong enough to shake solid mountains and shatter sturdy rocks,” Sheikh Ahmed bin Hamad Al Khalili said in a statement.

It is essential for all the genuine people of Yemen to unite in order to gain strength and achieve greater goals, he stated.

“Additionally, it is necessary for the entire Islamic Ummah (community) to support them, as it is a right of one Muslim over another, just as the Prophet (PBUH) said: A Muslim is a brother to another Muslim and does not wrong him.”

Sheikh al-Khalili went on to say that the goal for which Yemeni fighters make sacrifices is a cause of all nations.

They are acting in defense of the holy city of al-Quds, which is the first Qibla of Muslims and the place from which the Holy Prophet (PBUH) went to Mi’raj (ascension).

Since the onset of the Israeli regime’s campaign of genocide in the Gaza Strip, the Yemeni forces have taken measures to assert their support for the Palestinian resistance in Gaza, targeting Israeli vessels in the Red Sea and the Bab el-Mandeb Strait.

Additionally, the Yemeni armed forces have launched several missile and drone attacks against Israeli-occupied territories, particularly focusing on Tel Aviv.

For years, Sheikh Ahmed bin Hamad Al Khalili has remained steadfast in his support for the cause of Palestine.

He has also criticized attempts at normalization of the ties with the Israeli regime and opposed any move by Oman in that direction.
