3,400 Works Submitted to Secretariat of Int'l Resistance Film Festival

Mohammad Ali Shujayi Fard, the Deputy Secretary of the International Resistance Film Festival, stated on Tuesday during a press conference for the 18th International Resistance Film Festival, held at the Ahl al-Bayt (PBUT) World Assembly (ABNA) in Qom, that the festival as the only artistic event aims to promote the concepts of resistance and peace, seeks to unite the hearts and create a united nation against oppression and tyranny.

Hawzah News Agency- Shujayi Fard noted that the International Resistance Film Festival is a platform to portray the voice of justice and lasting peace worldwide.

He also reported that a total of 3,400 works has been submitted to the festival's secretariat so far, including 2,400 domestic entries and 1,000 international submissions across various formats.

The Deputy Secretary emphasized that resistance knows no borders; we all stand united against oppression and tyranny in a country called resistance. He called for the establishment of a foundation for this cinematic perspective of the Resistance Festival, which includes identifying active artists based in other countries.

In conclusion, Shujayi Fard remarked that the Resistance Festival is not just an artistic event but also a global movement promoting human values. He invited all artists, filmmakers, and audiences to join this movement.
