Regarding the discussion of unity between Shiites and Sunnis in Brazil, she reiterated,” In my country, because of the Brazilian constitution, all religions have freedom of practice, although the official religion of Brazil is Christianity, the followers of all religions in Brazil can legally promote their faith to introduce others to their school.”

This Brazilian lady noted that this opportunity includes the religion of Islam, and both Shia and Sunni are strongly active there.

She continued to say that In Brazil, every year in the city of Rio de Janeiro, an international exhibition of religions is established for empathy, friendship and unity among all and to familiarize people with different religions, they have pavilions and work next to each other, they pray together and show their unity to the people.

Kamila emphasized,” Thankfully, there is unity and healthy communication between Shiites and Sunnis in Brazil, although the Wahhabis with the support of Al Saud seminaries in Saudi Arabia are trying to destroy this unity, but they do not succeed.”

She further stated that what keeps Shia and Sunni unity strong today is the Palestinian issue, and said,” Both Shia and Sunni in Brazil support the oppressed people of Palestine, and both host large meetings and conferences in support of Palestine.
