Hawzah News Agency- Hujjat al-Islam Mirjafari, during the conference on scientific and cultural capacities of Iran and Latin America, in Qom, referred to the large volume of Islamophobia and Iranophobia in the media of Latin America, and stated,” Muslims of Latin America are in a difficult situation. They live in a difficult social condition where they are targeted by slander, humiliation, insult, destruction, and ridicule in the press.”

He considered this conference in the direction of strengthening intercultural communication. He stated,” Among the three common theories of international cultural communication, the Holy Qur'an in verse 13 of Hujarat Surah mentions the true and Islamic standard of communication and understanding between nations and cultures, which aims to achieve Islamic dignity.”

The scientific secretary of the conference of scientific and cultural capacities of Iran and Latin America continued,” If we are looking for intercultural communication in Latin America, we must first look for their merits. The people of Latin America are resistant and have endured many hardships to fight against imperialism. Knowing the literature and culture of resistance and their cultural, mystical, and philosophical schools in seeking justice is one of the goals of this conference.”

He defined Islamic Iranian literature in the Latin American region, interpreted Latin American literature and culture for the people of Iran, and the methods of scientific and cultural synergy, explained the ways of producing humanities in the two paradigms of Iran and Latin America, and expanded the strategic and artistic depth of the Islamic Republic of Iran and listed the five main goals of the conference in the Latin American region.

At the end, Hujjat al-Islam Mirjafari stated,” The main philosophy of the conference is cultural empathy, which has directly impacted the evaluation of articles and their ranking.
