Hawzah News Agency- During his second round of provincial trips to Qom, Iran’s president Hujjat al-Islam Seyyed Ebrahim Raisi met with Senior Shia source of emulation Grand Ayatollah Hussein Nouri Hamedani while attending his office in Qom on Friday, May 10.

The economy and people's livelihood are in great difficulty

In this meeting, Grand Ayatollah Nouri Hamedani, while congratulating the auspicious birthday of Lady Fatima Masoumeh (peace be upon her) which marks the beginning of the Decade of Dignity, thanked the President for his report and the services, and expressed some points from Nahj al-Balagha on serving the people. The grand Ayatollah said, “There is no doubt that your administration is working hard every day and you are working with sincerity, but today the economy and people's livelihood are in great difficulty, and, people criticize the government for high inflation. On this basis, it should be noted that all activities are for the welfare of the people, especially culture and economy; Since these people are the pillars of religion.”

The Grand Ayatollah further considered the low value of the national currency to be a fundamental problem and added,” I hope that with your efforts, you are honestly engaged in service, and you are able to solve these problems, and we are also praying. I hope your administration will be able to serve the revolution and the people with the same sincerity and inform the people about the services that have been done.

At the beginning of this meeting, Hujjat al-Islam Raisi, presented a comprehensive report on the performance and services of the government and expressed his hope that, the remaining problems will be solved.
