Hawzah News Agency- the ceremony of the first Night of Power was held in the Quranic Center of Saman al-A'imah of Sydney, Australia and it was attended by fasting Muslims; The keynote speaker of the event was Hujjat al-Islam Yahya Jahangiri, an active international missionary and professor of the seminary and university.

It should be noted that the programs of this ceremony include the Night of Power prayer, recitation of Dua for Imam Hussain (PBUH) on the night of Qadr, prayers and other supplications for this night, recitation of the Quranic chapters recommended for the Night of Power as well as recitation of Dua Abu Hamza Thumali.

The Night of Power, is, in Islamic belief, the night when Muslims believe the Quran was first sent down from heaven to the world and also the night when the first verses of the Quran were revealed to the Islamic prophet Muhammad (PBUH); it is described to be better than a thousand months of worshipping.
