Hawzah News Agency-Indian cleric Seyed Ghafar Razavi, in a message expressing his condolences on the passing away of Ayatollah Mohammad Emami Kashani, said, "the world lost a great personality. Ayatollah Kashani spent his whole life serving Islam and Muslims. Such people are unique.”

While referring to Ayatollah Kashani's trip to India, he added,” The deceased had traveled to India a few years ago. It is an honor for me that I met Ayatollah Kashani during that trip.”

He further stated,” That jurist emphasized on serving the religion and said that no matter what happens, the pen and the tongue should never be against the religion.”

Hujjat al-Islam Ghafar Razavi reiterated,” The deceased was one of the special confidants of the Supreme Leader. He performed Friday prayers in Tehran on behalf of the Supreme Leader, for this reason people also knew him as the provisional Friday Imam of Tehran.”

At the end, he said,” The Late Ayatollah Emami Kashani was a great asset for Islam and Muslims, but sadly, he is no longer among us.”
