Hawzah News Agency- the fourteenth pre-meeting of the scientific and cultural capacities of Latin America conference under the title "The influence of Muslim thinkers in Latin America" was organized by the research department of the complex of higher education of language, literature and cultural studies, with the presentation of Dr. Jamil Ebrahim Iskandar (Professor of Philosophy at the University of Sao Paulo, Brazil) in Arabic language.

At the beginning of this meeting, Hujjat al-Islam Abdul Qader Amini reported on the Latin American region, the number and names of countries, the number of residents, the languages in the region, the economic and political situation, the religious situation and the influential personalities of the region.

Then, Dr. Jamil Ebrahim Iskandar, a professor of philosophy at the University of Sao Paulo, Brazil, described the influences of Muslim thinkers in the Latin American region, the situation of Latin American countries, the type of intellectual attitude of Brazilian officials in reasonable issues, the positive and negative characteristics of the region, the extent of Islamic schools and centers, the effects of Iranian Islamic civilization, the importance of the BRICS group as well as the influence of Abu Ali Sina's philosophy and the situation of Muslims in the region.
