Software unveiled

Project manager of the software called ‘Rules of Arabic Literature’ at the Computer Research Center for Islamic Sciences, mentioned connection of translation and description with the original text, access to the Arabic text, the ability to find the similarity of the selected text with the possibility of determining the similarity percentage, the connection of the words with several dictionary courses, the possibility of searching the full text of Holy Quran as the main features of this software.

Hawzah News Agency- Seyyed Mustafa Hosseini, the manager of the Arabic Literature Rules Software of the Computer Research Center for Islamic Sciences (Noor), said at the press conference to unveil the Arabic literature rules version 2 software on Sunday, June 25, which was held in the meeting hall of the center with the presence of media members,” for research in Islamic sciences considering that our main sources are the Holy Quran, hadiths and narrations of Ahl al-Bayt (PBUH) in Arabic language, and also to understand some complex concepts, there is an urgent need to be familiar with the rules of the Arabic language.”

Hosseini continued,” In this software, specialized books in the field of simple science, syntax, meanings, expression and innovation, spelling and calligraphy, prosody and rhyme, and vocabulary are provided for the use of humanities researchers, professors and students.”

He said that one of the limitations of an Arabic grammar software version is the intellectual property of works and said,” Although most of the books presented belong to the past, but still intellectual property is one of our main problems. Despite these limitations, we increased the number of resources in version 2 of this software to 3 times more.”

Hosseini stated,” In the new Arabic rules software, 536 book titles are available in 849 volumes, of which 496 are in Arabic, 33 are in Persian, and 7 are in both Persian and Arabic languages.”
