Hawzah News Agency - In a message, Shia scholar Grand Ayatollah Mazaheri expressed his condolences on the demise of the late Hujjat al -Islam Seyyed Mehdi Abtahi.

I’d like to offer my condolences to the honorable family and his respected children on the passing away of the late Hujjat al-Islam scholar, Mr. Haj Seyyed Mahdi Abtahi, who was a source of lasting service during many years in various occasions and situations, especially during his period of serving the administrative center of the women seminaries of Isfahan province. I pray and I ask the Almighty God for mercy and forgiveness for that pious cleric, as well as consolation, patience and reward for all the honorable survivors. Peace and God's mercy and blessings be upon him and his honorable family.
