Hawzah News Agency- Senior scholar Grand Ayatollah Jafar Sobhani made some remarks during the meeting of Iran’s Minister of Culture and Islamic Guidance on Thursday, January 26 in Qom saying,” We must familiarize the youth with the Quran and Islamic teachings; it will strengthen their religious beliefs and create immunity.”

Shia scholar Grand Ayatollah Sobhani further noted,” Quranic discussions are of interest in the Ministry of Culture and Islamic Guidance, and for this we are grateful to this Ministry.”

Top cleric also stated,” There are a large number of religious publishers in Qom and they demand that the paper shortage of the printing offices should solved so that the recession of Qom publishers can be resolved.”

Grand Ayatollah Sobhani stated that Qom has the most important publishers second to Tehran since there are hundreds of printing offices operating in Qom; “Quranic activities should be promoted and it is important to pay attention to this field.” He concluded.
